The Gold Pig Award was, by the third year, a successful event that demonstrated the importance and results obtained by the Portuguese swine production. Farmcontrol was also present, emphasizing always and even more the joint work with and for animal production.

The farms obtained results are, certainly, the contribute from several factors that offer the best conditions. Farmcontrol, as a farm tool, can and it is one of these factors – a point demonstrated by the winners. In fact, 60% of the awarded farms are controlled by Farmcontrol, including the farm Nuno Correia, Intersuínos, Agrupalto, winner of the Maximum Numerical Productivity and the Diamond Pig Award.
