This month we present the Farmcontrol system implemented at Maporal, a slaughterhouse located in Reguengos de Monsaraz, Portugal.
Maporal has several chambers and rooms, in which the control of parameters such as temperature and humidity is crucial. The system is therefore quite simple, but the gains are significant. Through the placement of sensors, it is possible to observe the instant measurements, to report the historic values and receive alarms whenever the results are not within the objective parameters.
